Garw Valley Collieries

Ffaldau Colliery in 1986 during demolition.
This is the ventilating fan, it was 16 to 18 feet in diameter. It was due to be moved to St. John's Colliery in Maesteg but it was too big to get under the bridges between Ffaldau and Maesteg.
